Justice Minister, Francisco Caamaño, the Justice Minister of the Presidency and the Government of Cantabria, José Vicente Mediavilla and CEO of the Public Enterprise Red.es the Ministry Industry, Sebastián Muriel, today signed a collaboration agreement for the development of digital public services in the field of Justice, under the 'Programme Ius + Network'.
The signing of the trilateral agreement, worth a maximum investment of 975,688 euros for the period 2010-2012 and co-funded equally by the Central Government and the Government of Cantabria, will complement the actions developed by the Autonomous Community as part of its strategy to modernize the justice and enable the implementation of coordinated actions throughout the country to help achieve a model of judicial administration and technologically agile Advanced contained in the Plan for Modernization of Justice 2009-2012. The actions foreseen in the agreement will allow the deployment in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria of Judicial Records Digital, with the completion of scanning activities, provision of ICT infrastructure, applications and implementation of training activities. Also ensure the connection with judicial management systems of different regions to allow interoperability with the courts of the rest of the country. The agreement also provides for the adaptation of the recording to the implementation of the new Judicial Office including the conclusion and management of oral hearings, and the adaptation of systems to the use of electronic signatures by court clerks in courtrooms.
